    KEOTA—On September 30, the Keota Eagles hosted the Sigourney Savages for a SICL matchup. The Savages secured the sweep by score of 25-20, 25-8 and 25-16. The Savage offense was led by Josephine Moore with eight kills, while Reagan Clarahan had six of her own. Bailey Getter and McKinley Chittick also had five kills apiece. On the other side of the set, Taylor Rozenboom tallied an astonishing 19 assists!The Keota offense was led by senior Grace Conger, who had a team high 13 assists.

    HIGHLAND—One week after being beaten for the first time all season, the Pekin Panthers bounced back with a 63-13 rout of the Highland Huskies. The Panthers offense once again found their foundation in the running game with 239 total rushing yards. Junior Nolan Glick led the charge with 102 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 total rushes. Three other Panthers added passing touchdowns in the game: Riley Smith, Will Adam and Landon Crow.

    COLO—On October 4, the English Valles Bears visit the Colo-Nesco Royals, and fell by a final score of 42-40. The Bears found themselves in an 8-0 hole after a quarter of play. They were able to score a touchdown and two point conversion, but the Royals added 14 of their own as well. At the half, Colo-Nesco led the Bears 22-8. The second half was more of the same, as the Royals out-scored the Bears 20-12 en route to the 42-20 victory.
