A relatively large variety of frontend frameworks are implemented in the JavaScript programming language. Occasionally, though, it becomes challenging to determine which should be applied to a new project. Or the state of the web platform is such that we do not need any framework at all. Frameworks provide web designers essential features. Likewise, there are cases when designers can solve a problem using only JavaScript.

The last couple of years have seen a lot of job titles updated from DevOps engineer to platform engineer. For most, it’s been a change in name only. As a long-time Linux user (nearly 30 years), flexibility has always been one of the more important aspects of the operating system for me. With Linux, I can do anything. And if there isn’t an app for something, I could even write a Bash script to serve the needed purpose. What’s a Bash script, you ask? Have you ever written a text-based application? Maybe in Python?
