    Several international students at Purdue have had their student visas revoked in recent days amid a national crackdown, a source associated with the university's cultural centers told the Exponent. The person, who wished to remain anonymous out of fear of retribution, said Purdue administration sent campus cultural center administrators a list of names of students who had lost their F-1 visas. In some instances, the source said, the reasons for revocation were as small as speeding tickets.

    Purdue's tuition freeze might continue into the 2026-27 school year, as long as the university's board of trustees unanimously approves the move in June. Until the freeze is extended — or expires — in-state tuition will stay capped for the 14th year in a row. As a result, the cost to attend Purdue will be a third less than the projected average cost among other Big Ten schools, said Purdue President Mung Chiang.
