If you’ll recall with us, Bridgerton fam, back in May, Bridgerton season three part one was ushered into the world and onto your screens with a global premiere in New York City that brought together the indelible cast — including Luke Newton and Nicola Coughlan, Simone Ashley, Claudia Jessie, and others — as well as new showrunner Jess Brownell, Shonda Rhimes, and all the other creative visionaries behind the latest installment of Shondaland’s hit Netflix series. When Corey Mylchreest was in Los Angeles making the press rounds for Shondaland and Netflix’s Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story this past May, he sent in an audition tape for a production of King Lear that was to be directed by, and would star, Kenneth Branagh. Mylchreest chose a monologue by Edmund, the antagonist in Shakespeare’s tragedy, sat down in his hotel room, and performed the speech to his phone camera.
