    Mizzou volleyball punched its ticket to the second round of the NCAA tournament Thursday with a sweep over Texas State, beating them 25-16, 25-22, 25-22. A mix of good defense and too many errors from the Bobcats was one of the biggest factors in the match. Texas State was held to just a .063 hitting percentage in the first set and a .080 for the match, along with 20 team errors. The Tigers came out firing, with grad-transfer Mychael Vernon leading the charge.

    All-SEC awards were announced by the conference Sunday night, and four players earned honors for their outstanding play. Two of the four, junior Maya Sands and grad-transfer Mychael Vernon, also took home individual awards.     Just days after a comeback victory against Ole Miss, No. 25 Mizzou volleyball dropped its match to Mississippi State, falling in four sets (25-19, 20-25, 22-25, 24-26) in Starkville to close out its road games for the season. In a series Mizzou leads 17-4 all-time, the Tigers let their confidence get the best of them. The Tigers started the first set with a 6-1 run, capped off by a kill from senior Jordan Iliff.
