With college football season starting to creep up, we’re running down Indiana’s schedule to preview all 12 opponents for 2025. Indiana’s first bye week of the season comes in week six. Curt Cignetti and his team will face one of its toughest challenges of the season coming out of that off-week: a road test at Oregon. The Ducks were one of the best teams in the country last season, completing an undefeated regular season and winning the Big Ten championship.

The last time Indiana football played against Iowa created a haunting memory. The Hawkeyes dominated a ranked IU team in the first game of the 2021 season, setting the tone for a disappointing season that began with high expectations. IU football landed a commitment from class of 2026 in-state product Parker Elmore, he announced on social media on Sunday. Elmore plays both tight end and outside linebacker at Columbus North High. He tagged Indiana tight ends coach Grant Cain in his commitment post, but it’s not entirely clear at which position the Hoosiers will use him. He’s unranked in 247Sports Composite, and held just two other offers: Illinois State and Kent state. He took an official visit to IU over the weekend.
