    KABUL: Four senior commanders of the outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan terrorist umbrella organization, including Malakand Division Naib Ameer Rahimullah, aka Shahid Umer Bajauri, were killed in the Kunar province of Afghanistan on Tuesday. Sources told The Express Tribune that the four were invited to a feast in the area, and to hold meetings with local TTP personnel. However, they were ambushed at the mentioned location.

    PESHAWAR:The Jumbish e Umeri, a known militant group affiliated with the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), has confirmed that its top commander has been killed in a security forces operation in the North Waziristan tribal district last week. A spokesperson for the group, Zarar Dawar, made the confirmation in a statement shared with the media. It said that Commander Abdul Razzaq Saddam was killed in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Mir Ali, North Waziristan, on July 27.

    PESHAWAR:The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) confirmed on Monday that the terror attack in Besham, which killed five Chinese nationals, was backed by the Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). The report submitted by the CTD stated that the authorities had nabbed the main facilitator who brought the suicide bomber from Afghanistan. It added that the explosives-laden vehicle was brought through Chaman to DaraZinda town in Dera Ismail Khan district for Rs0.25 million.
