LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Alexia Isabel Jimenez, 19, of Lansing, is facing assault and gun charges in relation to a Friday shooting in the parking lot of the Meridian Mall that injured two people. The Meridian Township Police Department and other agencies were dispatched to the parking lot near Dick’s Sporting Goods at around 1:25 p.m. Friday for a report of a shooting. LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — A crash on I-94 in Jackson County involving multiple semi-trucks sent two people to the hospital Friday, according to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office. According to a shift activity report released Sunday, deputies responded to a crash involving three semi-trucks and a pickup truck located in the westbound lanes of I-94 near Parma Rd. at around 10:56 a.m. Friday.

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Michigan State Police are searching for a vehicle they believe rear-ended a buggy Friday evening on the eastern side of the state, seriously injuring both the horse and the man inside. Troopers were sent to the area of Peck Rd. and Isles Rd. in Sanilac County at around 6:22 p.m. Friday for a crash involving a car and buggy. Police say a 32-year-old man in a buggy traveling east on Peck Rd. was rear-ended by a white passenger car that did not stop after the crash.
