Chandan Roy Sanyal, who recently impressed one and all with his performance as Bhopa Swami in Ek Badnaam Aashram Season 3 Part 2, has been doing some great work from the very start. It is assumed that Vishal Bhardwaj’s Kaminey (2009) was his first film. However, not many are aware that he has also worked in Rang De Basanti (2006), in the role of Batukeshwar Dutt. However, the focus was more on the other characters in the film and hence, many might not have noticed him.
