Dipti Itchhaporia, MD, FACC, FESC All previous trials of complete revascularization have focused on the younger patient population. We have not had a trial dedicated to the older patients, so it is nice to see that. Also of importance was that two-thirds of the patients had non-STEMI. The discussion of complete revascularization has occurred more often in the context of STEMI. Most of us are starting to believe that complete revascularization is the way to go.
