Posted: Numerous rounds of showers and t-storms will come our way starting Friday and continuing right through the weekend.   Some of the storms could be strong to possibly severe. The main threat will be damaging wind gust up to 60 mph. It won’t rain all the time but there will be periods when the rain activity impacts outdoor plans. Temps will manage the upper 80s to lower 90s for highs. Looks like the rain and t-storm train continues to roll through here most of next week as well.

Posted: We have entered into an active weather pattern once again. Numerous rounds of showers and t-storms will come our way.   Temps will manage the upper 80s to lower 90s for highs. We see this pattern continuing through the remainder of the workweek and upcoming weekend. A frontal boundary will approach the deep south over the weekend. This frontal system will help trigger more rain activity beginning Saturday.

Posted: Updated: High pressure has shifted to the east of us and now southeasterly winds begin to transport moisture back into the area. We’re expecting scattered showers and t-storms to develop and move through our area Wednesday afternoon. These could be tropical like showers/t-storms capable of brief heavy downpours and frequent lightning strikes.  Temps will manage the mid to upper 80s for highs.

Posted: We are easing back into a weather pattern more typical for this time of the year. High pressure will help provide a mainly sunny and warm conditions for our area. Temps will climb to near 90 degrees each afternoon. Moisture will be limited through the week but those afternoon showers and storms can’t be ruled out as the week progresses. High pressure will move farther east of us and a frontal boundary will approach the deep south over the weekend.

Posted: Our weather is transitioning into a dry and milder pattern this weekend. We get a chance to dry out and enjoy some less humid air for a change. It’s a setup that will stick around for several days. Rain chances will gradually return but it’s going to be well into next week before that happens. In the meantime, we’re sitting on the backside of a cold front and that’s allowing a fresh batch of dry air to settle over us.
