The Eagles had multiple trade offers for TE Dallas Goedert during the 2025 NFL Draft, but instead decided to keep him on the team. Part of that agreement was for him to rework his contract to reduce the $11 million cap hit the team would have to take. Instead of cutting Goedert, that deal has been reworked and keeps him on the team for 2025. He will become a free agent after this season.

At nearly 5’10, 200 pounds, Restrepo is a compactly built slot target. In college, he ran 92% of his routes from the slot, per PFF. He’s made strides as a route runner and has shown reliable hands, so there’s plenty to like.
