My sister’s longtime boyfriend was so down in the dumps after the first period of that miraculous Oilers game last night that I made him put on Beach Boys music to try and improve our mood. Will be playing them every game now.

My absolute favourite band from my high school era, the Canadian legendary trio Triumph, is going to be playing before the Oilers game tomorrow, their first public concert since 2008. I’m usually a show up as close to puck drop as possible kind of guy, but will make an exception.
