AbstractReactive sulfane sulfur species such as persulfides (RSSH) and H2S2 are important redox regulators and closely linked to H2S signaling. However, the study of these species is still challenging due to their instability, high reactivity, and the lack of suitable donors to produce them. Herein we report a unique compound, 2H-thiopyran-2-thione sulfine (TTS), which can specifically convert H2S to HSOH, and then to H2S2 in the presence of excess H2S.

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Bailey Kirwin (Barrie, Ontario) scored with three seconds left in regulation, capping a late fourth quarter rally to lift the Albertus Magnus College men's lacrosse team to an 11-10 win over Saint Joseph's College (L.I.) on Saturday at Celentano Field. The goal was the third of the game for Kirwin, who also had an assist in the game.

HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. — Four Falcons notched hat tricks in the Albertus Magnus College men's lacrosse team's explosive victory, 21-5, on the road at Centenary University (N.J.) in their season opener, including six goals from co-captain Kader Price (Walden, N.Y.), on Saturday. Along with Price, Bailey Kirwin (Barrie, Ontario) netted five goals, Cooper Strecker (Chester, Conn.) recorded four and Shane Kelly (Madison, Conn.) had a trio of goals.
