We noticed something curious last year. While every state had a historical society -- and most counties, cities and towns in the U.S.--  there was no national historical society. So we did something about it. On April 26, we created The National Historical Society, a new 501(c)3 incorporated in our Nation's Capital. The mission of the new Society is simple: to help millions of Americans learn more about our nation’s story.
