We are itching closer to the summer months, and before we know it, preseason football will be here in August and then when we close our eyes it will be September. The Dallas Cowboys have had a very interesting offseason, but after adding George Pickens, a handful of people could possibly see them as a playoff team in 2025. Yet, a lot of folks don’t trust them, and they have every reason to feel that way.

The Dallas Cowboys had a really good draft, and one guy that you all probably did not pay much attention to is a big run stuffer that they drafted in the 7th round over the weekend. His name is Jay Toia, a three-year starting defensive tackle from UCLA. Now Schottenheimer will be doing exactly what he did and be both the head coach and calling the plays.

Here we are again in 2025 the same position as last year, wondering how this Dallas Cowboys running back room will shape out. As I was doing some looking around, I came across some interesting pieces talking about a new face in the Cowboys backfield, Javonte Williams. The Denver Broncos drafted Javonte Williams in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft, and after an encouraging rookie season, his 2022 was cut short due to a brutal knee injury.

Before I have folks on here screaming and throwing a fit about Dak Prescott this is just simply an offseason post to fill folks in on what could possibly happen in 2025. Dak Prescott, assuming no injuries, should easily surpass all three marks and fairly early in the campaign at that. Especially now that he has a legitimate WR2 in George Pickens to throw to. Let’s settle ourselves and understand.
