The pool of players for 2025 NBA Draft is taking shape after the deadline for players to keep their names in the draft or return to school for the 2025-26 college basketball season came and went. Players had until Wednesday at 11:59 p.m. ET to withdraw from the draft and maintain college eligibility under the NCAA deadline. Even though players had all day to decide their future, there wasn't much 11th-hour drama in the moments leading up to the official deadline.

The Miami Dolphins plan to move on from All-Pro cornerback Jalen Ramsey ahead of the 2025 season and recent reports indicate the Dallas Cowboys being a potential trade suitor. Larson has now attempted and failed the feet twice, and is not sure if a third attempt is in his future. "I'm sure if I don't get to do it again next year, then I'm gonna have massive FOMO [(ear of missing out) watching it on TV," he said.

Yaxel Lendeborg will hold off on his NBA career. The projected first-round pick will withdraw from the 2025 NBA Draft and instead enroll at Michigan, per ESPN. Lendeborg played for UAB from 2023 to 2025 and will head to the Wolverines through the transfer portal. The 22-year-old explained his reasoning for playing college ball for another year, saying it's about improving on and off the court.
