A former Yoozoo Games executive has been sentenced to death over the poisoning of the company's founder. Xu Yao poisoned Lin Qi's food in December 2020 because they disagreed over how to run the business, according to the Shanghai First Intermediate People's Court. Mr Lin, 39, died 10 days later and police arrested Xu.Xu, 39, had also poisoned drinks in the office between September and December that year, targeting two colleagues with whom he had also had differences.

Australia’s online safety watchdog said on Thursday it was being taken to court by Elon Musk’s X in a fight over the platform’s failure to outline how it combats child sexual abuse content. Last month, eSafety Commissioner Julie Inman Grant slapped an Aus$610 500 (R7.2 million) fine on X for failing to respond to questions sent in February about how it is tackling the issue on its platform.

Nobody will see this because that’s the way it works here now. But if you’re going to criticise the way the news media report on court/crime then learn a bit about the law first. I wish the CPS took contempt of court on here more seriously. So tired.
