BOSTON, MA — On the day Boston Bruins management held its End-of-Season availability at Boston’s TD Garden, three seats were set up on the podium. That meant just one thing: Bruins CEO Charlie Jacobs, President Cam Neely and General Manager Don Sweeney would be in attendance, but Interim Head Coach Joe Sacco would not, indicating that the Bruins will have a new face behind the bench when the 2025-26 season begins.

BOSTON, MA — On Monday, Brad Marchand broke his silence three days after seeing his 16-year career with the Boston Bruins end due to the trade that shocked the hockey world. Marchand has been playing on a contract that will expire at the end of this season and, according to various reports, met with Boston’s management Thursday to iron out a new deal.

BOSTON, MA — The NHL is rounding the final turn and heading down the stretch to the March 7 Trade Deadline. It has been almost six weeks since Boston Bruins president Cam Neely said his organization was looking at going down one of two paths at the deadline. A Hurricanes win guaranteed no sweeps through the first three rounds in a postseason for the fifth time since the Division Semifinals changed from best-of-five to best-of-seven in 1987 (also 2020, excluding SCQ; 2016, 2002 & 1991). #StanleyCup #NHLStats

All five Panthers are on the same side of the ice with the puck in the neutral zone. Hurricanes' Stankoven saw that and stayed on the weak side of the ice. CAR's Nikishin takes possession and sends the puck over to Stankoven, who gives Carolina a 1-0 lead.
