In the last couple of years, we’ve seen multimodal LLMs enter the scene, like GPT-4o, that can accept and respond with other forms of media, such as images and videos. But in just the past few months, some LLMs have been granted a powerful new ability — to call arbitrary functions — which opens a huge world of possible AI actions.
