Meet Liv Flynn, a nurse's assistant and owner of Thumb Salon for the Pampered Pets. About a year ago, Liv started the pet salon with just nail trimming and bathing. Working with animals is something she has always dreamed of, and with the help of courses from Penn Foster College, she was able to do full grooming services for cats and dogs. Over the last several months, residents and others from neighboring towns have expressed their feelings and displeasure to the library board about three books, which they say are "inappropriate," in the library's children and teens sections.

Sebewaing residents will have another food option, as a Taco Bell is coming to the village. For the last few years, developers and owners Lou Dortch and Bob Gardbowski have been helping to bring the taco party to small towns across the state. Village President Julie Epperson was elated to hear when they wanted to put a location in Sebewaing and is looking forward to what the restaurant can bring to its residents. "We're blessed to have them in the community," said Epperson.
