Johnny Stringer recently celebrated his 87th birthday, but has no plans to stop serving the west side of Orlando as a volunteer patrolman. He is the Orlando Police Department's longest-serving volunteer in the Citizen Observer Program. "I enjoy the camaraderie with the people and that sort of thing," Stringer said. At the start of every shift, Stringer picks up the keys to an OPD vehicle and gets behind the wheel to patrol the communities near Camping World Stadium.
