Derek Tournear will resume his duties as Space Development Agency director on Thursday following a monthslong stint on administrative leave, according to an Air Force spokeswoman. “Effective 17 April 2025, Dr. Derek Tournear will return to his duties as the director of the Space Development Agency,” spokeswoman Ann Stefanek said. Tournear had been placed on administrative leave pending an investigation, which the Air Force Department announced Jan. 16.
