Bloomington, Indiana – A plan outlining transportation needs through 2050 was approved by the Bloomington-Monroe County Metropolitan Planning Organization Policy Committee on Friday. The BMCMPO conducted three public meetings and collected 206 responses to an online poll prior to approval. The infrastructure for bicyclists and pedestrians was improved, safety was prioritized, and existing facilities were maintained rather than expanded.

Indianapolis, Indiana – Republicans in Indiana want the state to start looking into using state funding to invest in Bitcoin. The Indiana House Committee on Government and Regulatory Reform passed House law 1322, a law pertaining to Indiana’s Bitcoin investment, on Monday. It is now anticipated that the bill will be discussed further on the floor of the Indiana House of Representatives.

Some of the worst of it is currently occurring in one neighborhood on the northwest side of Indianapolis. It’s a complete disaster! A huge mess. Indianapolis, Indiana – The U.S. Forest Service is being pressured by Governor Mike Braun to abandon the Buffalo Springs Restoration Project in the Hoosier National Forest. The project will fire 15,500 acres of southern Indiana’s national forest land and log 5,000 acres, according to a news release released Friday by the Republican governor who took office in January.
