Bladder cancer cell lines T24 and UMUC3 were propagated in RPMI-1640 medium, whereas RT4 cells utilized McCoy’s 5 A medium. Both types of media contained 10% fetal bovine serum. All cell lines were sourced from the Type Culture Collection at the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Shanghai and kept under conditions of 37 °C and 5% CO2 in a humidified environment. When cell cultures exceeded 80% confluence, they were rinsed with 1× PBS and subsequently subjected to trypsinization at 37 °C for passaging.

A total of 65 pediatric patients with WD admitted to Shengjing Hospital of China Medical University between January 1, 2014, and December 31, 2022, were included in this study. The diagnosis of WD was established according to the scoring system provided by the Eighth International Meeting on Wilson Disease [17] and a Leipzig score of > 3 was considered appropriate for the diagnosis of WD.

We first obtained a preliminary total of 2,330 studies through database search and reference literature review. Then, using NoteExpress software, 248 duplicate studies were excluded. By reviewing the titles and abstracts, we then preliminarily selected 24 articles for full-text analysis. Following this, based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria, we further narrowed down the selection to 8 articles for quality evaluation. The process and results of the literature screening are depicted in Fig. 1.

We used The Cancer Genome Altas (TCGA) (https://portal.gdc.cancer.gov/) to do pan-cancer expression analysis. RNAseq data of invasive breast carcer (TCGA-BRCA) were downloaded and collated from the TCGA database and extracted in TPM format. Data is processed and converted using Perl scripts. “ggplot2[3.3.6]”, “stats [4.2.1]” and “car” package were used to analyze the paired and unpaired differential expression of the data.
