A student at Miramar High School was taken into custody Monday morning after being found with an unloaded gun on campus, authorities said. According to Miramar Police, the student was caught with the weapon after a metal detector was triggered as they entered the school, located at 3601 SW 89th Avenue. The school’s security team quickly confiscated the gun without incident. Officials confirmed that no ammunition was found in the student’s possession.
