VAN WERT — Several dozen children crowded a room at The Brumback Library Tuesday afternoon to learn more about the Van Wert Robotics program. Nellie Schmidt, director of The Brumback Library, said she was responsible for coordinating this summer’s events for the children. VAN WERT — The 2024 High School Invitational at Wassenberg Art Center is now winding down. The event, which opened Feb. 22, will close this Friday, March 15. According to the center’s Business Director Jayne Smith, the art center received over 204 entries and accepted 160. Students from nine area schools participated: Bryan, Continental, Coldwater, Crestview, Lima Senior, Parkway, Miller City New Cleveland, Van Wert, and Wayne Trace.
