    American Airlines plans to offer free inflight Wi-Fi service as a new perk to its AAdvantage loyalty program members, but not until January 2026. The Fort Worth, Texas-based airline is teaming up with AT&T to offer the complimentary Wi-Fi on more than 2 million flights a year. American said the Wi-Fi will be available on aircraft equipped with internet service from Intelsat or Viasat, which covers about 90% of American’s fleet and includes some 500 regional aircraft.
