1. Introduction 1.1. BackgroundThe layout of points of interest (POIs) [1] and the outdoor thermal environment [2] are key factors influencing residents’ behavior patterns in open spaces. At the community scale, POIs include seating areas, fitness equipment, playgrounds, landscape sculptures, plazas, lawns, garbage dumps, and parking sheds [3].
