Chemoresistive gas sensors made of semiconductor metal oxide (SMO) have gained popularity in the detection of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) according to their exceptional gas sensing efficiency in the ppm or ppb range, cost-effectiveness for commercial manufacturing, and compact size allowing for easy integration. (1,2) Ideally, these sensors should possess selectivity and multiobjective recognition capabilities to be suitable for complex real-world environments.
