Plasmon polaritons are formed by coupling light with delocalized electrons. The half-light and half-matter nature of plasmon polaritons endows them with unparalleled tunability via a range of parameters, such as dielectric environments and carrier density. Therefore, plasmon polaritons are expected to be tuned when in proximity to polar materials since the carrier density is tuned by an electrostatic potential; conversely, the plasmon polariton response might enable the sensing of polarization.

1. IntroductionThe excavation of coastal tunnels with large cross-sections often encounters the impact of groundwater, and there are frequent cases of leakage due to groundwater seepage in the project. To prevent major engineering accidents caused by groundwater seepage, the trench curtain method has been introduced into the project []. The pipe curtain method is particularly superior for underground engineering with shallow burial depth, large cross-section, and complex geology [].

AbstractThe aim of this study is to elucidate the disparities in survival and risk factors among different subtypes of liposarcoma, through analysis of epidemiological and prognostic data. The study cohort consisted of 12,822 patients diagnosed with liposarcoma in the United States between 2000 and 2021, whose data were retrieved from the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) program.
