Over the preceding several decades, the architectural, engineering, and construction (AEC) industries have witnessed significant advances due to the rapid development of information technology. A wide range of theories and techniques, such as BIM [1], computer vision [2], natural language processing [3], deep learning [4], and ontology engineering [5], have been adopted to facilitate the life-cycle management of AEC projects.
