No Direction Home celebrates Refugee Week with an actively varied range of performers, from Lemn Sissay OBE to our guest today, Kyrah Gray. The London-born comic and TV writer is no stranger to sharing stages and writing rooms with big personalities - Tom Davis, Romesh Ranganathan, Rosie Jones - and this should be a memorable one.

This week that funny person is keyboard wizard Bennet Kavanagh, who is about to make his full-length Edinburgh Fringe debut, with the show Crank up the Volume!! (to a Reasonable Volume). As hinted in the title, the show is largely about a particular Jason Statham movie franchise. Or perhaps less than originally planned...

    It's a very sensible place for a fringe festival, the seaside. Say you do a work-in-progress that goes weirdly; just walk down to the beach, take a good long look at the view and, hey presto, instant perspective. And things definitely do go weirdly during our few days of show-going. In a good way, mostly. To begin, though, a fine example of successful showmaking, with The Big Bite-Size Breakfast Show.
