It has been six years since his accident, and the only things that have seemed to change are the years.

By Carl J. KolhoffI am a German exchange student here in America, so I will address a situation in the community of my host family. Many Venezuelan families came over to the United States due to the current political situation there, if you can even call it political anymore. A big part of them came to Denver, mainly because Denver is a city that cares about refugees more than other cities. Now, the problem is that most of these families neither speak the English language nor have legal documents.
