    FOLLOWING a brief appearance at the Durban Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday morning, Glenmore murder accused Grayson Beare has begun his 30 days of mental assessment at Fort Napier Hospital in Pietermaritzburg. Beare, who stands accused of killing Halima Hoosen-Preston and attempting to murder her son and husband on June 2, 2024, will return to court on May 15. It is alleged that Beare fatally stabbed Hoosen-Preston at her Glenmore home after she voiced her support for Palestine.
