    Orlando Pirates have confirmed that their head Coach, Jose Riveiro, will be on the bench for the final time when the team hosts Golden Arrows tomorrow evening. The club has granted coach Riveiro an early release from his contract, which was originally set to run until the end of June 2025. The 49-year-old Riveiro lost his very first final since he arrived in South Africa three seasons ago, when Pirates lost 2-1 to bitter rivals in the final of the Nedbank Cup in Durban on Saturday.

The two African football giants could not be separated after 90 minutes. Sundowns and Ahly have now drawn six matches in total in the CAF Champions League.     Orlando Pirates coach Jose Riveiro has urged the Bucs faithful to come and support the team in the CAF Champions League semi-final first leg at FNB Stadium against Egyptian club Pyramids FC. Riveiro says he is expecting different playing conditions at the FNB Stadium on Saturday, compared to their regular home ground, the Orlando Stadium. The game had to be moved to the bigger FNB Stadium, due to an annual Easter church service in Soweto.
