At half-time of this game, Arsenal looked like a team that wanted the season to end. Trailing by two goals, and with Anfield in full party mode, Mikel Arteta’s players must have wanted to be anywhere else. Arsenal’s supporters would have also been having a worrying glance at the Premier League table and wondering if they could slip out of the Champions League places. The second half, here, should ease those fears and this unexpected comeback will surely be enough to get Arsenal over the line.

One of the most unlikely comebacks I have seen from Arsenal in a while. At half-time, they looked like a team that wanted the season to end. A point here, though, could prove very valuable. Live piece: https://t.co/Zs6NUDj82U

Arteta says he was "upset" with the first half. "Yeah, we had a reaction. I hate reaction. I like action."
