McCauley impacted lives with his sermons. It was with immense sadness that we had to bear the news of the passing of Pastor Ray McCauley. Words can never fully express how much someone like McCauley meant to the masses who benefited from his contributions to our rainbow nation. This apostle of caring and giving was a promise to the vast geographical mass of SA, that there is hope even in the most seemingly hopeless conditions.

President Cyril Ramaphosa has defined late Rhema Bible Church head Pastor Ray McCauley as a remarkable leader. McCauley died on Tuesday night aged 75. “Pastor Ray’s passing leaves our deeply spiritual nation bereft of a remarkable leader whose impressive legacy lives on in the faith of hundreds of thousands of believers within and beyond the Rhema community. “May his soul rest in peace.”McCauley is a former co-chair of the National Interfaith Council of SA.

The Rhema Bible Church has announced the death of its founder, pastor Ray McCauley. "Pastor Ray has gone to be with the Lord peacefully at his home, surrounded by his family and loved ones," his son and the church's senior pastor Joshua McCauley said. His death was recorded at 6.46pm on Tuesday. "The family appreciate your prayers and support during this difficult time," the statement read. At 75, McCauley had stepped back from active church duties.

Founder of Rhema Bible Church and evangelical leader, Pastor Ray McCauley has died. McCauley was surrounded by his family and loved ones when he passed away at 18:46 on Tuesday evening, his son Joshua McCauley said in a statement. "At 75, Pastor Ray had stepped back from active church duties but remained fully committed to serving the body of Christ. "His enduring legacy as a servant leader will continue to impact communities far beyond his lifetime," he said.

File image The Constitutional Court has denied a bid by former SABC COO Hlaudi Motsoeneng to appeal against a Supreme Court of Appeal decision regarding the “success fee” he received from the public broadcaster. The Special Investigating Unit, which said on Thursday it has already recovered R6.47m from his pension benefits, welcomed Wednesday's ruling, saying it cleared the way to pursue the outstanding amount from Motsoeneng.
