Soon after, my sister and I arrived, and a family tradition was established of heading to Bath each December to celebrate our parents’ anniversary. Whilst almost half of Brits (48%) will be attending up to two parties this festive season, a recent survey by Very.co.uk has found that nearly a quarter lacked outfit confidence. And it’s easy to understand why. Party season can push us outside of our style comfort zones, with the shops full of thigh-grazing hemlines, look-at-me sequins and figure-hugging outfits.

    I never thought I’d be the type of person to invest in a meal prep delivery service. As a self-titled ‘foodie’, cooking is how I unwind after a long working day. When I’m not eating food, I’m thinking about my next meal or I’m scrolling through Instagram reels for inspiration. I’ve been known to take cookbooks to bed and read them like novels, and pride myself in an ability to whip up a meal from a just can of chickpeas, a parmesan rind and a bunch of wilting herbs from the salad drawer.
