Chelsea may have sewn up the Women's Super League (WSL) title in midweek, so their 1-0 win over Tottenham meant little, but it was derby day in Manchester and Liverpool as United drew 2-2 with City and Everton came out on top over Liverpool once again with a 2-0 victory.

With all eyes on the UEFA Women's Champions League semifinals, fans might be forgiven for forgetting another busy weekend across Europe's biggest domestic leagues, but there was plenty going on. First thing's first, Barcelona put the sword to a miserable looking Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, completing an 8-2 aggregate win before Arsenal left Lyon shocked with a memorable comeback in to book their place in the final.
