Nigma tops the groupAfter being seeded into a group alongside the likes of Team Liquid, Team Spirit and ESL One Bangkok winners PARIVISION, Nigma have something of an uphill battle on their hands but after facing Talon Esports and Shopify Rebellion on day 1, I wouldn’t be at all surprised if they’ve had a confidence boost. Not only did they take both series 2-0 but they did it convincingly.

BetBoom came into these playoffs by the skin of their teeth after dropping maps against BOOM Esports, Team Liquid, M80 and Aurora Gaming but that was, apparently, enough. Since then, things have really kicked up a notch. After taking out Team Spirit and Team Tidebound in convincing 2-0s, it was time to face GG. Ringmaster Makes The DifferenceDespite being in Captain’s Mode for some time now, I really haven’t seen all that much Ringmaster in recent tournaments.

The news comes just days after SRG owner Simon Mason Lim dropped hints on his Instagram account about partnering with an org, claiming it was “all about blue and white” – two dominant colors in OG’s logo. This led to a tonne of speculation but now we have the official announcement. A new venture for OGIt makes a lot of sense for an org like OG to venture into new games, having already established their legacy in the likes of Dota 2.

Evolving creeps scale with the gameThe homes of the new amphibious creeps in patch 7.38 are located on the outer rim of both the radiant and dire safe lanes, perfect for when you need some really safe space to farm. There are 4 different types of camps ranging from easy to Ancient, much in the same way as the rest of the map. The main difference is that while they’ll initially spawn with a base level creep like easy or medium, the camps will evolve as the game progresses.
