The introduction of a statutory definition of bullying at work In July of last year a Private Members’ Bill sponsored by Labour MP Rachael Maskell, the Bullying and Respect at Work Bill, was presented in the House of Commons. The Bill called for the introduction of a statutory definition of bullying at work and an associated right for employees to bring claims of workplace bullying in an Employment Tribunal.

On 13 July 2023 the government announced that following the public sector pay review, visa fees and the Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS) will be increased. IHS for adults will rise from £624 per year of visa to £1,035, and the discounted rate for students and children will rise from £470 per year of visa to £776.
