Breast cancer cell lines MCF7, ZR-75–1, MDA-MB-361, SKBR3, HCC1954, HCC1937, MDA-MB-231, and MDA-MB-436 cells were purchased from American Type Culture Collection (ATCC, www.atcc.org) and cultured with alpha modified MEM medium (Sigma) with supplement of 10% FBS, 1 mM sodium pyruvate (Gibco), 10 mM HEPES (Sigma), 1X Glutamax supplement (Thermo Fisher), 1X MEM non-essential amino acid (Sigma), 1 mg/mL insulin, 1 ng/mL hydrocortisone, 25 µg/mL EGF, and pen/strep at 37 °C and 5% CO2 [17].

Little research has examined diabetes outcomes for people with T2DM and AUD, including during the window when patients start specialty addiction treatment. To examine diabetes-related health monitoring, clinical outcomes, and acute health care use among patients with T2DM and AUD newly accessing specialty addiction treatment.

Our recent trip to San Diego for the Baja Ha-Ha took us over the now-empty Oyster Cove Marina. Tenants were evicted in 2022 to make way for a new electric air taxi terminal that is planned for the former marina site. The images below show the empty Oyster Cove with a few boats anchored out in the nearby basin.
