AbstractIntimate partner violence (IPV) affects many individuals, including the persons using violence, as they also experience distress that in turn correlates with recidivism. Evidence suggests that relationship violence intervention programs would benefit from considering contexts associated with abusive behavior. The present study evaluated a context-based relationship violence intervention program (RVIP) compared to a nonconcurrent treatment-as-usual program.

All animal procedures were performed per protocols approved by the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee at Southern Illinois University – School of Medicine or the University of Idaho. C57BL/6J mice (JAX stock no.: 000664) and Shank3Δex4–22 mice initially described by Drapeau et al., 2018 [47] (JAX stock no.: 032169) and were acquired from Jackson Laboratories and/or bred in-house to generate animals used in all experiments.

This study examined the association among cancer history, social support, and up-to-date colorectal cancer (CRC) screening among four racial/ethnic groups. We conducted a cross-sectional analysis using data on respondents aged 45 to 75 years from the 2022 Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System. Our outcome of interest was CRC screening and exposures of interest were race/ethnicity, cancer history, and social support. Weighted multivariable logistic regression was performed.
