FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The University of Arkansas (U of A) Faculty Senate has approved a resolution opposing the new Arkansas law requiring the display of the Ten Commandments. SB433, now Act 573 after being signed into law by Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders on April 14, requires the display of the national motto "In God We Trust" and the Ten Commandments in public buildings, including classrooms.
