The Kokomo School Board rounded out its ranks Monday evening as it appointed Joey Hurlocker as the newest member of the governing body. Hurlocker will serve the remainder of Charley Hinkle’s term which goes through the end of 2028. Hinkle died April 15. “I’ve wanted an opportunity to serve the community in a more formal way,” Hurlocker said. “I was looking for something to pull me tighter into the community.”Hurlocker is a 2015 Kokomo High School graduate and was valedictorian of his class.
