More paramedics in the field sooner. That’s the goal of Ivy Tech Community College Kokomo’s revamped paramedic program which aims to graduate students faster. Ivy Tech’s Paramedic Science Program has historically required five semesters or 21 months to complete. The condensed version will take only four semesters. It’s a win for the Republican supermajority that has pushed for the last few years to make school board elections partisan.
