Proctor puts up 14 in win over Grand RapidsProctor softball got back to their winning ways with a win against Grand Rapids on Monday, 14-6. After falling behind 3-0 in the first inning, Proctor’s offense kicked into gear. Rails’ Suri Langley, Avery Kuras and Kaytlyn Hemming all hit home runs, while Aubrie Bruce got the win on the mound. Proctor is back in action on Tuesday against Cloquet at 4:30 p.m. while Grand Rapids looks to bounce back against Duluth Marshall on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.

Hermantown baseball found themselves down 8-4 in the 4th inning, but were able to rally back for a 13-10 win over Superior on Monday. Hermantown’s Charlie Marchand who went 4-5 with 2 RBI for the Hawks, and Hermantown as a whole tallied 16 total hits. The win brings Hermantown’s record to an even 6-6, with their next game against North Branch on Wednesday a chance for the Hawks to get above .500. For Superior, they’ll look to rebound against New Richmond in a doubleheader.
