Texas has a new kicker for the 2025 season. The Longhorns picked up a commitment from former Texas State kicker Mason Shipley on Friday evening, according to a report from 247Sports. Shipley was one of the most highly-recruited kickers in the portal as he’s made 31 of 35 career field goals during his time in college. Nakos reports that Sullivan will visit Tulane next weekend and has also been in contact with Virginia Tech. Sullivan entered the transfer portal this week after competing with Auburn transfer Hank Brown for the starting job at Iowa this spring.
