The health ministry in Hamas-run Gaza reported on Monday that an Israeli operation in Khan Yunis killed 70 people and injured over 200 after the military warned it would forcefully operate in the region. The next full moon, known as the Buck Moon, is set to occur on July 21, marking a rare coincidence with the 55th anniversary of the Apollo moon landing in 1969. The moon will appear full for three days, from Friday evening to Monday morning, making it a full moon weekend. The name ‘Buck Moon’ comes from the Algonquin tribes of the northeastern United States, who named it after early summer when buck deer grow new antlers. The moon is also known as the Thunder Moon due to frequent thunderstorms.
