In 2024, the Herndon Hornets were a young baseball team with little experience and playing against stiff competition. What a difference a year makes. The Hornets are off to a fast start in 2025, going 4-1 despite their most recent loss being a 7-0 shutout at the hands of Washington-Liberty. However, head coach Stephen Frank is not concerned, as he knows his team still has work to do. “Last year we had a very young team -- so the experience is helpful to our 18 returning players.
